Initial Evaluation

Speech Therapy begins with a full assessment to determine a client's needs. This may involve formal or informal assessments. A speech therapist is looking for a specific diagnosis as well as the severity of the possible condition.

After the evaluation is complete, the speech therapist will put together a treatment plan based of the findings as well as recommend the proper frequency of visits for future speech therapy sessions.
